An Extreme Policy that Needs Abortion

Video Below
Recently there has been a lot of chatter about a Pro-Life Ad that is making it's rounds.  Many on the progressive left are criticizing the "Shock and Awe" of the Ad. Now certainly it seems a bit "shocking" on the surface, but when you compare this Ad to current reality, it is a lazy stroll through the park. And that is not meant to belittle the Ad.

Take a look at the Ad for yourself...

Now one might think at first blush the Ad is a bit overreaching, framing the President as the Angel of Death, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed as the Hell that followed, but is this really going too far?

It is understandably hard to gauge the reality of abortion when the details of it are covered up in a sterile medical facility. It is also hard to grasp the seriousness of this issue when all we do is quote statistics. So, here is a little family vacation story to help us understand what is happening everyday in America.

Let's say, for sake of example, we live right next to the steps of the Supreme Court in Washington DC, and we are going to take the family on a cross-country vacation. The first stop - Disney World in Florida! Naturally, of course, it is just south of Washington and a great place to take the kids. After spending a few days down there, we decide that we haven't had enough of Mr. Disney, and so we pack up and head to Disney Land in California. After a couple of days at Disney Land, the family is pretty much agreed that we are full of Mr. Disney, and so everyone wants to travel up the West Coast, explore the redwood forests, and stop in Seattle Washington for a cup of Starbucks coffee. After sipping down some caffeine, we all agree that skiing off the energy in Big Sky Montana would be an excellent diversion. After slipping and sliding down the mountains in Montana, we are all ready to relax and do a little shopping. So, off to Minnesota and the Mall of America. After maxing out a few credit cards, we decide to go for one last fling; a baseball game at the Yankee Stadium in New York. Now by the time the game is over, we are full, broke, sore, and ready for home! So, we pack up and head back down to DC to estimate the damage.

So what does this have to do with abortion? Well, just imagine that as we headed out of town on this family trip, we came across one of the worst possible sights imaginable. A dead baby along the side of the road. Naked, bloodied-up, torn-up, utterly lifeless. That would really put an emotional scar on the trip, wouldn't it? We would never be able to get away from that for the rest of our lives. Every time we look at the pictures from the trip, or talk about that trip, even years later; we will always be reminded of that horrible scene.

Now, do you know what reality is? The reality is not just one dead baby; the reality is fifty million dead babies. But, what does fifty million mean? It means that as we set out on the family vacation, lining  BOTH sides of the road, were dead babies, head to toe, along the entire route. The family vacation was 7700 miles long. The average baby, when allowed to be born, is 20 inches long. That's over 15,700 +  miles of dead babies. O, and by the way, when we got home, there was still over a million babies piled on the front steps of the Supreme Court next door.

All of the sudden, the Ad seems a little weak. Those that criticize the Ad, really do seem like Angels of Death - don't they? And the "Pro-Choice" movement, yes, I'll say it; it is the Hell that followed.

Are you wondering, like I am, if it is possible for this to get worse? Well the answer is that it can - take a look at the next logical progressive step of the liberal mindset.

Can someone please tell me if this isn't "Shock and Awe," at least for now?
