The Game of Blame

Video Below
It certainly seems like the only thing the President knows how to do well, is blame everything on everyone else. Mostly that everyone else is the Republican party, no surprise. In fact, he is still blaming the Bush Administration, even though the Bush Administration has been out of office for almost two years. Of course we all know that mastering the craft of blame is a mark of truly great statesmanship...right?

I couldn't help but wonder if my gut was right or not. So I took a look at the last ten White House Weekly Addresses; a weekly assessment of the President's message, direct to the American people. Now two of these addresses were not your typical Saturday address. One was Labor Day weekend, where the President stayed away from politics, and the other was remembering September 11th, again the President stayed away from politics. Now that leaves eight addresses that were not influenced by anything other than politics. I found six of those eight address, made a blatant effort to shift blame on the Republicans. We could be real generous and conclude that the President plays the blame game about...most of the time. (Watch)

I suppose things aren't going to change much, especially in a direction we can all "hope" in, if the Commander-in-Chief is going to spend his time running around blaming everyone else for the problems we have. Problems, that could really care less as to who is a at the helm of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Problems that need a real American leader to step up and work some solutions that don't trample on half of this nation's individualism. Of course, the President would have to stop taking vacations, start listening to the other half of this nation that didn't vote for him, as well as stop blaming others to get that kind of work done.
